Danielle Winkelman

Danielle Winkelman, Overnight Patient Care Nurse, has worked for years with pets both as a veterinary assistant and at the Asheville Humane Society. She is currently working toward a Bachelor of Science in Biology at UNC Asheville. Danielle fosters for Asheville Humane Society, Brother Wolf Animal Rescue, and Phoenix Landing Bird Rescue. She also completed Real Life Skills with Pet Behavior Aid.
 
Danielle and her husband, John, share their home with Merlin, a 5-year-old Husky mix, Sansa, a 8-year-old cat, and Leif, a 6-month-old rabbit.
