In April, the staff at Animal Hospital of North Asheville was treated to lunch and a talk about the "Importance of Nutrition" by Dr. Michelle Turner.
The presentation was about the importance of basic nutrition in the daily life of our pets, and about the ways in which nutrition plays a key role in managing diseases such as kidney disease and arthritis. Dr. Turner also introduced some of the new therapeutic diets that Hill’s Pet Nutrition offers.
Dr. Turner has a passion for veterinary medicine and nutrition and a love of educating clients and hospital staff. Dr. Turner is a graduate from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. She worked in emergency medicine for several years, then joined Hill’s as a nutrition representative to help educate hospital staff across the Carolinas on the importance of pet nutrition in their daily life and in critical care.
