The Friends of North Asheville Dog Park will host a meeting to invite public comment on the Friend’s proposal to develop a dog park in north Asheville. The meeting will be July 18 at 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium at the Ira B. Jones Elementary School located at 544 Kimberly Avenue in north Asheville.
The Friends of North Asheville Dog Park is a group of citizens dedicated to creating a dog park in north Asheville. The group has identified an eight-acre, privately owned property located at 284 Beaverdam Road at the Wild Cherry Road intersection, as the potential site of a future dog park. The property is owned by Arc Development of North Carolina.
