This free Behavior Help Session is for anyone with a puppy under 5 months of age, anyone who is interested in understanding more about puppy behavior or anyone planning on adding a puppy to the family. The focus of this help session will be to help you learn what age-appropriate puppy behavior is for your puppy, learn how to establish good habits to prevent problems from developing, and discover how to take advantage of your puppy’s socialization window.
The mission of Pet Behavior Aid, a non-profit organization, is to increase the retention of companion animals in their homes in Asheville and Western NC through education and training programs for people who have dogs or cats, animal shelter and rescue workers, and the general community.
A little about our Free Help Sessions:
Our goal is to teach you what you need to know to help your pet. As much as we wish we could include your pet in this class, it is for humans only, so please leave all those sweet and wonderful pets at home.
These Help Sessions are free to the public on a first come, first seated basis. Please be aware that Animal Hospital of North Asheville will be seeing patients while the Help Session is in progress, so some of our parking will be reserved for the families of patients needing care. Thank you for understanding.
In case of inclement weather, class will be cancelled. If you have any doubt whether the class will be held, check our Facebook page or call Animal Hospital of North Asheville at 828-253-3393.
