Tricks and Games

Animal Hospital of North Asheville was proud to host Jenny White, CPDT-KA of Dog-Ed's most recent training class "Tricks andGames." This four week class was held in the AHNA Education Room. Each Saturday the canine students and their families learned new tricks and games to play.

Learning tricks and games is a fun way to strengthen the relationship between the dogs and their families, increase the dog's mental stimulation, and is a fun activity for the whole family. The increased stimulation also helps curb unwanted behavior.

Students learned how to play scent games, tug, and find the mat,as well as how to do tricks like back up, twirl, beg, crawl, and much more. It was fun to see to see the dogs grow and show off what they had practiced each week.
