Two Free Pet Behavior Help Sessions in December!

We are very fortunate to have two Free Behavior Help Sessions offered at Animal Hospital of North Asheville in December!

Understanding Your Dog’s Body Language When Playing will be given on December 10th at 7:00 PM in the AHNA Education Room by Jenny White, Certified Professional Dog Trainer of Dog-Ed. Reading a dog's body language is an important skill for any dog owner to have so your dog stays safe and has positive interactions with other canines at dog parks, day care, and other social situations. Get these questions and more answered at this people-only help session: Does mounting really mean dominance? Does your dog get targeted by other dogs? Is your dog a bully or the play police? Should small dogs play with larger dogs? When should you step in to help your dog out?

Helping Your Dog Survive the Holidays will be given by Tristan Rehner, Certified Professional Dog Trainer and Certified Behavior Consultant Canine (CBCC) of Pet Behavior Aid on December 17th at 7:00 PM in the AHNA Education Room. This free people-only session will give you information to help you understand your dog’s behavior and skills to help your pet negotiate the challenges presented by the hustle and bustle of the holidays.

These sessions are free of charge and no registration is required. Seating will be on a first come basis. It is important for some parking places in our parking lot to be left open for pets seeking medical care, so please respect the signs denoting “Reserved for Patient or Medication/Food Pick Up”.
