Animal Hospital of North Asheville Helps Homeless Pets
At Animal Hospital of North Asheville we always strive to help local animal welfare organizations as much as possible. That is why we are a ‘Top Dog’, or a presenting sponsor, for Animal Compassion Network’s (ACN) Taste of Compassion fundraiser.
The Seventh Annual Taste of Compassion will take place on Thursday, November 11, 2010 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at The Venue in downtown Asheville. A wine tasting and silent auction will take place to benefit ACN’s Foster and Adoption Program. There will be over 200 silent auction items to view and bid on including original artwork and pottery, handcrafted jewelry, concert and theater tickets, massages, white water rafting trips, and designer pet supplies. Local eateries have graciously offered to cater the event, serving gourmet vegetarian food pairings for each wine station. For entertainment, One Leg Up will be performing their unique brand of jazz.
Several doctors and staff members from our hospital will be present at the event – we have our own sponsor table! – and we would enjoy seeing and greeting our clients.
In addition to sponsoring the Taste of Compassion, Animal Hospital of North Asheville participated in WCQS’s on-air fund drive on October 12th. As one of the two matching donors for ACN, Animal Hospital of North Asheville matched 50% of the on-air funds raised for WCQS.
