The start of a new year brings excitement for new possibilities and a time of feeling refreshed. First we want take a moment to remember some wonderful moments of 2017.
We want to say thank you to all our clients and patients that make each day special. We are blessed to care for pets and their families and share part of their lives. We shared tears and laughter. Throughout the year our clients spoiled us with cards, goodies and kind sentiments. But what really moved us was the outpouring of generosity through donations to Paw it Forward, which raised over $4,100, to the Holiday Pet Food Drive with almost 4,600 pounds of food and supplies donated benefiting Meals on Wheels of Buncombe County, Asheville Humane Society and Brother Wolf, and everyone who attended the 14th Annual Taste of Compassion, which raised $147,500 to help the Asheville Humane Society. Our clients are the best! We thank you.
We have an amazing staff, new and old, who worked tirelessly and compassionately side by side every day to provide the best care possible to our patients. They are the heart and soul of AHNA. We had the addition of many wonderful and skilled team members who look forward to helping AHNA continue the high level of care we offer to our patients and their families.
Animal Hospital of North Asheville was proud to support Asheville Humane Society through donating veterinary care to many special needs patients throughout the year, including two special patients, Aya and BB, who were severely burned and rescued as puppies from two different house fires. The team of skilled and dedicated doctors, technicians and support staff provided love and medical care for months for these two puppies. Because of the dedication of the veterinary team, these special patients and many more now have happy and healthy lives.
We look forward to spending 2018 caring for our amazing patients and their families, working with our wonderful staff, and continuing to support our community. We are excited to continue to elevate our Fear Free and Low Stress Patient Care, to offer more behavior and training support, and to continue learning through Continuing Education so that we can offer the highest level of veterinary care possible to our patients.
We want to thank you for entrusting us with the health care of your beloved canine and feline companions. We look forward to sharing the good times and being there to help during the tougher times. We wish you all a very Happy and Healthy 2018. May it be filled with precious memories and exciting adventures!
