Dorothy Williams, an Exam Room Team member, has helped care for our patients at AHNA since 2005. Dorothy especially loves getting to know the patients and their families. She is thankful to be able to work hand in hand with the AHNA’s wonderful veterinarians, techs and support staff. Dot feels nothing is better than getting to make each visit the best visit it can be for every patient by using low stress and interactive activities. You can also find her romping with the puppies at AHNA Puppy Preschool on Thursday nights.
Dot’s interest in animals started when she was a young member of 4H, and it followed her through college acting as a strong influence in her work as a Bachelor of Fine Arts Honors Major. Her interest in animals developed into a passion to learn more about behavior and how to give pets the best life possible. She is a member of The Humane Society of America and International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants.
Dot shares her home with some very lucky pets: a mischievous cat names Orly, two senior dogs named Dutchess and Pepper, and two hairless Guinea Pigs named Chunk and Russell. In her spare time, Dorothy enjoys spending time with her dogs out in the woods, working on various art projects, and curling up with a good book.
