It's hard to believe, but it's time to vote in the Mountain Xpress Best of WNC poll again! Voting is easier than it was last year, and you don't have to vote in multiple categories. You can choose to vote for one Asheville business (AHNA!) and skip the rest of the poll if you would like to. To make it even easier for you, we have a computer set up on our front desk so that you can vote in our lobby. If you need assistance, we're happy to help.

He was urged to get a guide dog by Services for the Blind and fortunately his case worker persisted in her efforts to get James to consider a guide dog.

We did not know what we were getting into when we agreed to foster 3 little kittens. They were just over a month old and suffering from lice, (fortunately only cats can get cat lice), respiratory and eye infections. A good Samaritan brought the three brothers into AHNA. We had originally planned to find homes for all three kittens once they were feeling better.

Misha is one amazing girl! While visiting Dr. Riggle, Mom demonstrated some of her talents. When asked to identify an object, she recongnized the word and pointed to the object! She truly is an amazing dog, even with her hurt leg she played along!
