Happy Holidays from everyone at Animal Hospital of North Asheville!
Once again, the staff members of Animal Hospital of North Asheville are sponsoring several of Buncombe County's foster children by purchasing Christmas presents for them.
This is the time of year that we tend to count our blessings, and at Animal Hospital of North Asheville, we have so many to count this year! The most obvious thing that may come to your mind is our wonderful new state-of-the-art hospital renovation and addition that was completed in 2012. Yes, we are thrilled to be able to provide an open, comfortable, low stress environment for your pet, but there is one thing that is an even greater blessing: The amazing, thorough, caring, and careful AHNA staff.
The smell of the feast is sure to have tails wagging, but busy crowds of family and friends and an abundance of food may present safety hazards for your pets. The American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and Animal Hospital of North Asheville offer the following tips to keep pets safe this holiday season.
Our Annual Holiday Food Drive is off to a great start! Thank you to all the generous clients who have donated so far! As you can see in the picture, food, blankets, toys, and treats have been coming in at a rapid pace, and we are thrilled because this means there will be fewer hungry pets in Buncombe County. Last year we pledged to match up to 1000 pounds of donated food, and actually matched more than 1000 pounds. This year our pledge is to match 2000 pounds, and from the look of things, we will be donating at least another 2000 pounds!
