How many times have you heard (or said it yourself), “The only bad thing about pets is that they don’t live long enough.” It is an unfortunate reality that most of us are going to outlive our furry soulmates. However, when they reach their “golden years,” there is no need to despair. Older pets still have plenty of life left. They are in many ways better behaved than their younger selves, and with a few modifications, you and your older pet can continue to enjoy an active pleasurable companionship right up until the moment they cross the rainbow bridge.

A day filled with compassion and love for senior pets

There is something special that touches our hearts when we see the silver in the muzzle, the cloudiness of the eyes, and the slower gait of an aging pet. Senior pets are special beyond words.

We had the honor to participate not only as a sponsor, vendor, and speaker, but also as fellow pet owners in the Angel Pets Conference and Expo. We were part of a large group of like-minded individuals who have been touched by the love of a senior pet.

The Fourth of July and its accompanying celebrations can be a traumatic experience for pets. It is also the number one holiday for pets to get lost. Even if you keep your cat or dog indoors during this festive holiday, it can easily turn into a "fright night" for your pet. Many cats or dogs can become fearful, anxious, or stressed with loud noises such as thunderstorms, fireworks, loud music and large groups of people celebrating. A little preparation can go a long way toward making sure that they are safe and happy when the festivities begin, and we can help!

June 18, 2019 - 7:52pm
